Four Common Food Stains
Most of the time, we get stains from ketchup since this table sauce is used in many different recipes and it goes well with everyday favorite food like hamburger, pizza, fries, and others. Aside from ketchup, oil is also common especially if you fry something and it gets into your clothes.
Our favorite drinks, coffee, and wine, also cause stains on our clothing when you accidentally spill them or it drips into your clothes. Although this won’t happen if you drink slowly, there are just instances that cannot be avoided.
How to Remove Food Stains
So, how can we remove ketchup, oil, coffee and wine stains from our clothes? Here’s how:
1. Ketchup-Put vinegar on the stained area and use a brush to remove it.
2. Oil-Put baking soda on the stain and let it set for 45 minutes. After that, put dish washing liquid on top of the baking soda. Brush the area with vinegar.
3. Coffee– Dab the stain with vinegar. Then put baking soda and pour more vinegar on it. Use a brush to remove the stain.
